After garden installation is complete, we offer a range of garden maintenance services. The perfect maintenance plan for you depends on how much you would like or are able to participate. We understand that growing food is hard work and it’s not an option for everyone to physically contribute. But we strongly believe that growing food in your own space has so many personal and societal benefits that overcoming the obstacles to make it happen is well worth the effort.

Option 2 - Clean-up Crew!

For those needing less input from us, we offer end of season maintenance services. At the end of each growing year (for some that means summer season, others fall season), we will come to clear, refresh, and mulch. Composting and mulching are important components of sustainable backyard vegetable gardening. We want your garden to be healthy, happy, and productive. That means removing dead plant material that would otherwise make the perfect home for pests to overwinter. It means adding compost to supplement nutrient levels and improve soil conditions. And it means mulching to protect the garden bed during its rest. Fees are determined on an individual basis by the scope of the project, supplies needed, and your farmer's time.

Vegetable Picking

Option 1 - Full-Service Backyard Farming!

Our experienced farm crew can stop by your garden on a weekly basis throughout the growing season. We bring all of the vegetable transplants, seeds, natural fertilizers, organic pest control materials, and tools necessary to keep your garden healthy and attractive. If you love the idea of growing fresh and healthy food in your own backyard but have no interest in or cannot participate, this is the maintenance package for you. We can do it all, start to finish, delivering your homegrown veggies to your door. We are your backyard farming company after all. You select your favorite crops from our seasonal plant guides and we take it from there. You are always welcome to join us during our visits if you’d like to learn more about edible gardening. We encourage everyone, if possible, to spend time in their garden. We keep you up to date with newsletters detailing how your garden is growing, what is coming soon, recipes, and other seasonal gardening topics. Fees are determined on an individual basis by the scope of the project, supplies needed, and your farmer's time.

Option 3 - A Little Help, Please!

We also offer a monthly maintenance plan. This plan includes clear, refresh, and mulch as well as planting each season (spring/summer/fall). You select your favorite crops from our seasonal plant guides and we take it from there. This plan takes care of most of the hard and dirty work as well as the planning, which can be intimidating for beginner gardeners, and leaves you with monitoring, weeding, and harvesting. This is a great plan for those who want to participate but find the idea of growing an edible garden a little overwhelming. We’ll be around just enough to keep you on track for a successful growing experience. Fees are determined on an individual basis by the scope of the project, supplies needed, and your farmer's time.
